AAPD v Dudek proposed PI order 4 2 25
| 04/03/2025 | MINUTE ORDER: The Court has reviewed Plaintiffs’ 3 Motion to Partially Seal their Complaint and Motion for Preliminary Injunction. Given the expedited nature of this matter, it determines that a full Opinion is not practical at this time. Believing that Plaintiffs have made the required showing on the relevant factors, the Court ORDERS that: 1) Plaintiffs’ 3 Motion to Partially Seal the Complaint and Motion for Preliminary Injunction is GRANTED; 2) Plaintiffs may redact their and Declarants’ addresses, places of employment, and ages from the Complaint, Memorandum of Points and Authorities in Support of Motion for Preliminary Injunction, and associated declarations; 3) Defendants are prohibited from disclosing Plaintiffs’ and Declarants’ identities to third parties unless necessary for defense and are required to redact their addresses, places of employment, and ages in filed documents; and 4) Plaintiffs [3-3] unredacted Complaint shall remain sealed, subject to any further consideration by the United States District Judge to whom this case is randomly assigned. If Plaintiffs would also like to proceed pseudonymously, they will need to file a separate motion to do so. So ORDERED by Chief Judge James E. Boasberg on 4/3/2025. (lcjeb4) (Entered: 04/03/2025) |
